White Bunk Bed
Buying a white bunk bed gives
you a lot of flexibility when you are matching it to an existing room or you are adding additional pieces to your
children's bedroom.
White Bunk Bed
Buying a white bunk bed can make your choice of selecting
any style of bunk bed easier for you.
When you are in the market for a bunk bed set for you
children’s bedroom, it is hard enough to choose which configuration will be the best for their needs.
There are different sizes, multiple sizes,
toddler bunk beds, twin bunk beds, full bunk beds, twin full bunk bed combos and so forth.
One thing that can make your decision much easier is to
eliminate color as a determining factor from the decision.
Whatever design, style, make or model you choose, make sure you choose a white bunk
bed.
Why a white bunk bed? Because white goes with everything!
Another benefit of choosing a white bunk
bed is that the color white has a certain annotation of purity, cleanliness and neatness. Regardless of the existing colors in the bedroom or
despite any other pieces of existing furniture that you have already placed in the room, a white piece of furniture
added to the current décor is only going to enhance the other tones and contrast already there.
If you are buying this new bed to add to an existing bedroom
that already has been painted or themed, then the addition of a white bunk bed is not going to clash with what you
have already paid for and placed in the room.
If you have a boy’s bedroom in blue or a little girl’s
bedroom that has a definitive feminine theme, then a white bunk bed will not clash with
either. Even if the room was
painted in a gender-neutral, you cannot get more gender neutral than white.
And if you decide to move your kids around in the future,
whether that is to combine or separate, having a white bunk bed will easily follow them or stay in the same room
for a new theme.
Another great thing about your decision to buy a white bunk
bed is that white paint is very easy to cover in the future.
My little girl had a white bed and one day she decided to go sticker-happy all over
the headboard and all of the posts. When that phase had worn off and she wanted to go with a more mature theme for her room, it was
very easy to peel the stickers and remove the residue using a goo-removal product. Then I just did a little preparation to all the posts
and the headboard by removing them and sanded the surfaces until they were smooth. Then I applied a little paint primer to the surface
to ensure that the new ‘electric yellow’ paint would cover the surface. I would say that unless you have a little
sticky-happy little one, you could just apply the paint directly to the surfaces and you would probably get away
with a single coat to cover the white.
Regardless of the style of bund bed design you choose, you should be able to find
almost all of them offered in white. And if you think white is too ‘plain’, you can always
dress up the appearance by adding fun colored knobs, handles and sheet sets to set off your
room!
